They Year of 2012!

Like my mom, everyone should do some research and see what some pastors have prophecied over this coming year. On of the prophecy's is this: The years of 2012 and 2040 are the years of Harvest! HALLELUJAH RIGHT? Haha, so please go research the coming year (which is tomorrow LOL :))

In this world:

Being a teen in this world is tough. We have to say, "NO!" to drugs and alcohol more than we probably would have a long time ago. We have it tough, and easy. We have phones, which have benefits and downfalls. We have computers that have benefits and downfalls. But we have one thing that some do not have, the Love of Christ.

The Lords Prayer Part 2: (by Larry and Tiz Huch)

2. "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven."

  • Declare by authority in the name and the blood of Jesus, "Nothing but the good and perfect will of God today." God's will is for us to have righteousness, peace, joy, divine health, and prosperity!
  • Claim these things boldly for:
  1. Yourself.
  2. Your family (your spouse, your children, and other relatives).
  3. Your church (pastors, staff, leadership, church family, and new converts).
  4. The world (your schools, neighborhood, city, state, nation, and other nations).
That again is, should you want to, be said aloud.

The Lords Prayer Part 1: (by Larry and Tiz Huch)

 1. "Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name."

  • Our God is a good, loving, kind, caring, and generous Father.
  • We enter into His blessings by praising and worshipping Him.
  • God's names reveals His nature. They show us who He wants to be within us, for us, and through us. Speak His names out loud and thank Him for who he really is in your life!
  1. Jehovah Tsidkenu: The God who is my rightousness
  2. Jehovah M'Kaddesh: The God who sanctified me.
  3. Jehovah Shalom: The God who fills me with His peace.
  4. Jehovah Shammah: The God who is there for whatever I need, whenever I need it.
  5. Jehovah Rophe: The God who heals me.
  6. Jehovah Nissi: The God who is my victory and protection.
  7. Jehovah Rohi: The God who is my shepherd and and guide.
  8. Jehovah Jireh: The God who provides for all of my needs.

Now this is just to show you what in a way this really means, should you want to it is for you to repeat aloud.

The Lords Prayer:

I have a way to say the Lords prayer in 6 steps. I got it from some pastors named Larry and Tiz Huch you should check out their website: www.larryhuchministries.com
So anyways: For now I will do one step a day until we are finished so remember to view everyday (except for Jan. 1 my day off the blog) for each and every step...

New Year''s Party:

New Year's Party

What better way to bring in the new year than to celebrate with friends! Here are a few tips:
  1. invite people that are fun to be around. No one wants to have a party and make any one uncomfortable because there is a major sour puss in attendance.
  2. exchange gifts or give out goodie bags. You want people to remember what a great time they had at your party so they come to other things you invite them too. The best way to do that is to give them something to walk away with.
  3. don't skimp on the snacks. Everyone loves snacks and treats and it livens up the party, but just make sure to give variety and have enough to go around.
  4. have some games or activities. You don't want your guests to be bored out of their minds, but do not overpower them with such a specific times schedule. You want to give everyone to feel relaxed and have a good time.
  5. let EVERYONE stay over. At midnight, everyone will be tired and parents will not want to come pick up their children, but if you let one person stay over late, you should let everyone stay unless no knows about it except that one person.
I hope these ideas are helpful. I know Tilly and I are planning to have a big New Year's bash.
Happy 2011!
Aria

New Year, New You

My family loves New Year. Just like we love Christmas. But especially New Year. Why? Because you can start over, like the year starts over so do you! If you want. You can even change a million things you do, to better ones! Like a New Years Resolution, but permanent. Like if you smoke tell yourself, "NO!" Do it with anything. After all it's a New Year, c'mon make a NEW YOU!

Christmas Is Over:

Sigh, Christmas is over. But it was a great day! And I have thanked everyone. Well, almost... I haven't thanked the Lord for blessing me. But He should know it right? I don't wanna talk to Him! I am too busy with my gifts. He knows right? Ya, of course....

No, sure He knows, but how would you feel if someone says, "OH! LOOK IT THIS ITS SO COOL!" but they do not thank you. Would like to not be acknowledged? No, I should think NOT! So go thank Your Lord. After all, He is the one who has given your family enough to give to you. So go thank Him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Have a great time with friends and family. Eat lots of cookies, open lots of gits, and sing many carols. Do whatever you do on this day for the Lord and remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Remember.... This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Merry Christmas again,
Aria

Tilly's Christmas Traditions:

Aria you are so right! We all need our own traditions, here is what my family and I do every Christmas :):

1) My siblings and I wake up and look at open our stockings
2) We run and look at all the presents under the tree as we scream 'LOOK HOW BIG MINE IS!' (lol)
3) Then we wake up the mom and dad who have already been up for ages but still lay in their beds :)
4) When they come into the living room they get coffee and let us open the gifts (dad does mom sits on the couch in 'HER' spot lol)
5) We play around with our gifts....

Now we also do the Christmas Story but that slips in somewhere in the day. :) We NEVER forget to read it. Now of course that isn't my entire day. If I told you my entire day you would be reading the blog for a week! But my siblings and I always wake up at the same time (somehow! lol) and spend time with each other before we get our parents! It really isn't something people call tradition but it is for us!

Christmas Traditions

Everyone deserves a Christmas tradition or two. Some of mine are...

1) Performing in the Nutcracker Ballet. This ballet is performed all over the world but I love when we do it because I get to be a part of it.

2)Eating Chinese food. It has been my family's tradition for many generations, and even though I am not a very big Chinese food fan, I love to spend time with my family.

3)Caroling at church. We sing Christmas carols by candle light outdoors near the lighted tree outside.

Blog Changes

Hey Everyone.... Merry Christmas Eve!! I am moving the thought of the day off to the side of the homepage so that it doesn't get moved down and you can see it all day! we are sorry for any inconvenience, but I think it will be more helpful for those who just want to glance at the blog and go.
Thanks, Aria

Christmas Eve For Others:

Okay so, you and I both know that there are other teens out there on drugs or drinking. It totally crushes my heart. Why? Because they deserve so much more, but they have been tricked. By Satan. So now, on Christmas Eve we are going to have many homeless, stoned teens somewhere out on the streets everywhere. So please, pray with me and everyone else this day. Everyday, but especially today. So maybe someone will find them and bring them to a shelter. So keep praying through out your day. Silently, out loud, I don't care. As long as you are praying. So: Thanks and May All Your Christmas' Be White. :)

Tilly's Thought Of The Day:

Okay, so Aria was so write we do need a thought of the day. And mine is this:

Okay, so we all need to go and become a part of youversion... it is a website and app that has the Bible. You can make notes read the Word and read other's notes. And there is something very cool called Global Share The Bible Day on Dec. 25. So take this link and become a part of www.youversion.com

He's Painting On The Canvas Of Your Heart:

The Lord is painting on the canvas of your heart, he is writing the pages of your life the pages of your story. No need to worry because if you are going through something tough like a close friend of relatives death, divorce, anything! Keep trusting He wrote your story He knows what you can or can't handle. There is no other way to say it. Even when you say, "But WHY? WHY? Why have you brought this upon me?!" There is a story of a woman who asked God why and he said if He told her she would still ask why. So no matter what, trust in the Lord, He wrote your story and knows what will happen. He knows you CAN get through this. So always seek joy in any situation, even though you don't want to. Remember He is painting on the canvas of your heart, so keep trusting Him.

Thought of the Day

Hey Everyone! I am so happy to be able to be a part of this blog. When I first saw it I loved it but thought it needed one thing.... a thought of the day! So, each day, Tilly or I will share a favorite quote, Bible verse, poem, or something we have been thinking about.

So here's mine to get it started:
"Follow your heart!"
When the world gets hard and brings you down, do what you want to do. When your peers want you to do something you know is wrong, do not be afraid. Just trust in God's plan and follow your heart!

Numbers 6:25-26

I love Numbers 6:25-26 it says:
"May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and give you peace."
I read a book once were one of the characters said that but he also put the back of his hand on someone's forehead and prayed this:"May the Lord bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon you and give you peace. And may you choose Him before all others. Amen." I think that is such a good verse, why? Because, do we not all forget the those verses and try to put those words into our own words, but we fail to make them say the same thing. So I have memorized this verse and put my hand on my family members forehead and pray that very same prayer. In fact, I go around the house praying that silently in my own head.

New Author:

Hey blogger's, it's Tilly and I have added another one of my friends Aria to be an author. So I can't wait for you to read her posts. :) And I can't wait for her posts. Now, Christmas is in 2 days. So on Christmas I do not think either Aria or I will be able to post anything, but if we do don't be surprised. We both love to write, (and she is way better at it than I am) so I suspect you will be getting a lot of posts. :) Okay, so now that I have told you that we have a new author, let's wait for her posts.

2 Corinthians 4:18

2 Corinthians 4:18 says...
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (NIV)

This verse means a lot to me. It is insightful and hopeful. It gives us hope in our faith. We cannot see the air but yet we know it is there. This works for the Lord too. He is there watching over us and helping us in our everyday lives. This is why I like this verse!

Living Out Your Faith

Most people don't know how to live out their faith. We have to shine the light of Christ everywhere we go. People see Jesus in us by how we act. If people know we are Christians, but see us curse and disrespect others, then they will not see what Christianity is all about. We are to be an example to others, but what kind of example are we setting when we are acting just like the rest of this sinful world? I strive to do live for Christ everyday, but because of my sin, I often fail. But I am trying and not trying alone. Each morning my family prays on the way to school/work. When it is my turn to pray, I almost always end my prayer asking for help to shine as a light for Him. I need God's help to get me through the day with a good attitude and even though I have bad days, I am trying to walk more like Christ in living out my faith!

Your's, Mine, and Our's...

Your faith... no Mine.... no OUR faith is important to the world. You may think, "Oh, Pa-leeze. Like my little tiny heart belonging to Christ is going to make a difference in this huge world? Right." But I am sincere when I say, "Your heart, makes ALL the difference we need. Without your heart, we wouldn't be complete. Fact is, we aren't complete. We need everyone to complete the task given to us. 'Go make disciple's of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father the sun and the Holy Spirit.' We HAVE NO CHOICE! Our faith is what is making more, and more, fishers of men... So go out to city, your town, your COUNTRY! And make more disciple's of nations...

Psalm 91

Psalm 91 is becoming a prophetic chapter in the Bible. Because first of all, the Word says to quote scripture's as you pray. So if we are praying Psalm 91 we are covered because if you read it it says, "He who dwells in the Most High shall abide under the shadow of His wings," That means we will be protected. We need to pray Psalm 91 protection over our family and friends. With that we have a promise by God that we will be protected from, " the terror at night, and the arrow that flies by day." (NIV) My dad has us sit in the living room, no matter how late and quotes that chapter. Why? Because we are protected.

Christmas

Christmas is literally right around the corner. A couple of days away. In fact, I am so excited I am about to burst! My mom said she finished all the Christmas shopping this afternoon. She even finished getting stocking stuffers! This is my favorite time of year. Oops, I have to go. CHores to do...

Having Faith

I was looking for pics of Bethany Hamilton. She was a girl who lost her left arm to a shark attack, yet she survived. She got back up, and went surfing again. So she in my oppinion shows real faith. Why? Because she fought to live to tell others. That takes a lot of faith in Jesus. So here are some pix, I thought were inspiring.

Don't Push Me Around!

Teens who aren't the most popular at school get picked on. Get pushed around. But from a voice of experience, "Stand your ground!" I know everyone says. But they say it because it's true. And if you never stand up, they will never stop picking on you. You have to make it known that you are not someone who isn't going to stand up. You ARE. Try it, see what happens. I'm telling you, it works. And sometime's you have to stand up to them, again, and again, but you know what? Some day, they will see your playing games. That you mean it, and that you will not step down. Because if you back down, they know that if they just keep messing with you, you will freak and back down. So here's the answer: DON'T BACK DOWN! Stand your ground, make your voice be heard. And see the difference. God is in you, 'For if God is with me, who can stand against me?' That my friend's is a question you must ask yourself. Get out there and stand firm. And remember this, "Stand firm, stand strong for the Word of our God is a firm foundation so stand strong."

Christmas Is About Whom?

You know, I was thinking of what I should write and I realized most teen's forget what Christmas really means. Even I was forgetting. :) It is about giving, and my Jesus. I am getting ready for a party and I was thinking of what it was about. Not gifts, nor St. Nick, but Jesus and His Unfailing Love.

Spending Time With Our King

We should all spend time with the Lord. If we don't we will fall away from Him and soon not care about Him at all. I want all of you to get into your beds with a Bible and look up something about being with the Lord in the Bible. Then pray about it and thank the Lord for sending His Son.... then have a good night's sleep. Because we all forget to spend time, but when you get into a habit of spending time with Him every morning, you will have a good day.

Apologetic Tip's:

Hey-ho, to all you in the blog world. This post is about Apologetic Tips. I, myself, am actually very good at apologetic's. Not all of my family knows it, but my grandpa does. Here is a story:

One day I was at my grandparents, I was sitting on the couch with my Grandpa (keep in mind this is just one of the many story's I have). I was telling him of a school that had mission trips to Mexico he said, "Mexico is dangerous." But I was firm that if I went to that school I would go. So I replied,"But how could I pass up an opportunity like that one?" He said, "You wouldn't be safe there." "But I would! The Bible says if we are doing the will of our Father He will protect us!" But again he said, "You wouldn't be safe." "If I put my trust in Him I am always safe." "You need more!" "What more do I need if I have a promise from my God, 'for if God is with me, who can stand against me.' I quoted that verse two more times when he said I would need more. And he stepped down. He knew that if I ever got that opportunity I would not pass it up. And many more times have I won battles against my grandpa when it came to Christ in me. So here are your tips:

1. Always stand firm in your belief in Christ.
2. 'Put your faith in Him and He will make your path strait.' Meaning if you put your faith in Him, you will always win the battle.
3. Quote the Word. Without the Word (Bible) you won't win.
4. But the most important thing is being Spirit led.

If you keep those in mind, you can defeat any apologetic's battle. And you especially win in the hearts of many watchers. So I hope to see you out there some day. Winning the hearts of many. :)

My Brothers Birthday... (cont.)

My brother went to his favorite place to eat. Where my grandparents gave him the new Spy Watch with a camera... then the ultimate gift... an ipod-touch. He was stoked. He is a tween now, and he and I play games with each other as we verse.... Anywho, thanks for reading this, and don't forget to vote...

My Brothers First Gift

For my brothers first birthday gift he got My Sims Agent... it is actually very fun. And my mom laughs every time she hears them talk. Because they talk jibber jabber.. :)

--

Merry Christmas,

   Nicole =D

Music...

In my opinion instead of talking about the worldly singers like say: Hannah Montanah, Salena Gomez, Demi Lovato, etc. Talk about our bands like: Hawk Nelson (LUV crazy love), The Wreckage, Skillet, Manic Drive, Tenth Ave. North, Superchick, Press Play, Adio Adrenalin, Barlow Girl, Lifehouse, Kutless, Revive, Fireflight... (i wrote most of the bands that i luv! :)) Music makes a difference. It is a scientific fact that teens know more than 200 songs but can barely quote 1 spelling list. So music is very powerful, that is why we should listen to Christian Bands. Because if people who watch what you do, because your a Christian, and they see you listening to the bands they listen to they will think they aren't doing anything wrong and that they are doing what a Christian does. So, why should they even consider being a Christian if they listen to the same things a real Christian does? Now that is a question you should really ask yourself and think of an answer... Which is the answer? They shouldn't.... Just think about it, and if you are listening to non-Christian music, change it to Air1 (89.3 www.air1.com) so you can listen to Newsboys Jingle Bell Rock :) And do think about it....

Teens

Christian teens should be leading more and more other teens to Christ. Saving others and giving them a new experience with Christ in their lives. Most teens who are not saved feel rejected and worthless, so they run to others to fill an empty gap in their lives. When really they still feel more and more lost... which leads them to lives they don't want. Which makes them think they can't go to Jesus because He could never forgive them, when in truth He already has. They just need to realize that and accept Him as Savior. If they don't they just keep living without Him, and soon they forget about trying to be good for Jesus and they forget about Christ, Christians, and everything. We need to get to them now, so they can have a good future. They just like say, Muslim's are in bondage. They are living in fear. But what does God's Word say, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but the power of love, strength, and a sound mind." So we need to show others that we live by that, and that is why we are not afraid. Because, "If my God is for me who can stand against me?" So again, lets go and show the world we are the next Christian generation....

A teens Christmas:

Hey all, I am going to put a poll up for what you would want more: a Mac book Air, iPhone, or a regular cell phone

Please vote, I would like to hear your opinions...

My Brothers Birthday...

Today is my brothers birthday. He is now an official tween. (the age before you become a teen) I have to go now, but I will write more about his birthday later...

1 Samuel 25:6

1 Sam. 25:6 says: 'Life and peace to you. Peace to your household, and to everyone here.' As I prayed that in Starbucks I saw people fade away. Both couples.... everyone. Now it is as quiet as can be. People moving in and out of the tiny cafe. Seats and tables empty, it makes this cafe look really nice and very peaceful when you are on www.youversion.com looking up Bible verses and praying silently to the Lord. You know as I was listening to the Christmas Songs playing in the background I thought of how pretty snow must look like on Christmas morning when some people wake up. I live where no snow can even get to me. It snowed once many, many years before I was born. Peace is on my mind. I can just sit and think, without any distractions. Now, that is true peace :)... Haha, my little brothers birthday is tomorrow... I would write what he is getting, but I wouldn't want him to slip on the computer and see.... I will write about it after he has it. :)

Life In A Rush

Hey Blogger world. :) In am sitting in a Starbucks just watching all the people. They all just look like they are in a rush. I know even in a Starbucks people look in a rush. But mostly only the people who are taking their coffee or snack To-Go. Everyone else just looks incomplete. Like they do not have God. It makes my heart break to see them this way. I see a teenage girl with her boyfriend. And they are not Christians I can tell you that much. I see another teenage couple doing homework. They aren't Christians either. About no one I see is are Christians... Almost everyone here are boyfriend and girlfriend. Makes my heart break.... they are trying to fulfill the empty gap that only God can fill. Now don't get me wrong. I have nothing against dating, out of Christianity I do. Because you are trying to fill an empty gap in your heart. Anyways, i have to go.... I'll write more.... :)

Teen's Are Not Hidden Elements In The World

Teens are not hidden elements in the world. We are the next generation. We are the people of our countries next generation. We can make a difference in our High Schools and our Middle Schools. We are us, we need to speak to our schools and show them the way of Christ. If we don't our generation will not be a good one. We must be an example. So let's get out there and make THE difference.
