MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Have a great time with friends and family. Eat lots of cookies, open lots of gits, and sing many carols. Do whatever you do on this day for the Lord and remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Remember.... This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Merry Christmas again,

Tilly's Christmas Traditions:

Aria you are so right! We all need our own traditions, here is what my family and I do every Christmas :):

1) My siblings and I wake up and look at open our stockings
2) We run and look at all the presents under the tree as we scream 'LOOK HOW BIG MINE IS!' (lol)
3) Then we wake up the mom and dad who have already been up for ages but still lay in their beds :)
4) When they come into the living room they get coffee and let us open the gifts (dad does mom sits on the couch in 'HER' spot lol)
5) We play around with our gifts....

Now we also do the Christmas Story but that slips in somewhere in the day. :) We NEVER forget to read it. Now of course that isn't my entire day. If I told you my entire day you would be reading the blog for a week! But my siblings and I always wake up at the same time (somehow! lol) and spend time with each other before we get our parents! It really isn't something people call tradition but it is for us!

Christmas Traditions

Everyone deserves a Christmas tradition or two. Some of mine are...

1) Performing in the Nutcracker Ballet. This ballet is performed all over the world but I love when we do it because I get to be a part of it.

2)Eating Chinese food. It has been my family's tradition for many generations, and even though I am not a very big Chinese food fan, I love to spend time with my family.

3)Caroling at church. We sing Christmas carols by candle light outdoors near the lighted tree outside.

Blog Changes

Hey Everyone.... Merry Christmas Eve!! I am moving the thought of the day off to the side of the homepage so that it doesn't get moved down and you can see it all day! we are sorry for any inconvenience, but I think it will be more helpful for those who just want to glance at the blog and go.
Thanks, Aria

Christmas Eve For Others:

Okay so, you and I both know that there are other teens out there on drugs or drinking. It totally crushes my heart. Why? Because they deserve so much more, but they have been tricked. By Satan. So now, on Christmas Eve we are going to have many homeless, stoned teens somewhere out on the streets everywhere. So please, pray with me and everyone else this day. Everyday, but especially today. So maybe someone will find them and bring them to a shelter. So keep praying through out your day. Silently, out loud, I don't care. As long as you are praying. So: Thanks and May All Your Christmas' Be White. :)

Tilly's Thought Of The Day:

Okay, so Aria was so write we do need a thought of the day. And mine is this:

Okay, so we all need to go and become a part of youversion... it is a website and app that has the Bible. You can make notes read the Word and read other's notes. And there is something very cool called Global Share The Bible Day on Dec. 25. So take this link and become a part of www.youversion.com

He's Painting On The Canvas Of Your Heart:

The Lord is painting on the canvas of your heart, he is writing the pages of your life the pages of your story. No need to worry because if you are going through something tough like a close friend of relatives death, divorce, anything! Keep trusting He wrote your story He knows what you can or can't handle. There is no other way to say it. Even when you say, "But WHY? WHY? Why have you brought this upon me?!" There is a story of a woman who asked God why and he said if He told her she would still ask why. So no matter what, trust in the Lord, He wrote your story and knows what will happen. He knows you CAN get through this. So always seek joy in any situation, even though you don't want to. Remember He is painting on the canvas of your heart, so keep trusting Him.

Thought of the Day

Hey Everyone! I am so happy to be able to be a part of this blog. When I first saw it I loved it but thought it needed one thing.... a thought of the day! So, each day, Tilly or I will share a favorite quote, Bible verse, poem, or something we have been thinking about.

So here's mine to get it started:
"Follow your heart!"
When the world gets hard and brings you down, do what you want to do. When your peers want you to do something you know is wrong, do not be afraid. Just trust in God's plan and follow your heart!

Numbers 6:25-26

I love Numbers 6:25-26 it says:
"May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and give you peace."
I read a book once were one of the characters said that but he also put the back of his hand on someone's forehead and prayed this:"May the Lord bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon you and give you peace. And may you choose Him before all others. Amen." I think that is such a good verse, why? Because, do we not all forget the those verses and try to put those words into our own words, but we fail to make them say the same thing. So I have memorized this verse and put my hand on my family members forehead and pray that very same prayer. In fact, I go around the house praying that silently in my own head.

New Author:

Hey blogger's, it's Tilly and I have added another one of my friends Aria to be an author. So I can't wait for you to read her posts. :) And I can't wait for her posts. Now, Christmas is in 2 days. So on Christmas I do not think either Aria or I will be able to post anything, but if we do don't be surprised. We both love to write, (and she is way better at it than I am) so I suspect you will be getting a lot of posts. :) Okay, so now that I have told you that we have a new author, let's wait for her posts.

2 Corinthians 4:18

2 Corinthians 4:18 says...
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (NIV)

This verse means a lot to me. It is insightful and hopeful. It gives us hope in our faith. We cannot see the air but yet we know it is there. This works for the Lord too. He is there watching over us and helping us in our everyday lives. This is why I like this verse!

Living Out Your Faith

Most people don't know how to live out their faith. We have to shine the light of Christ everywhere we go. People see Jesus in us by how we act. If people know we are Christians, but see us curse and disrespect others, then they will not see what Christianity is all about. We are to be an example to others, but what kind of example are we setting when we are acting just like the rest of this sinful world? I strive to do live for Christ everyday, but because of my sin, I often fail. But I am trying and not trying alone. Each morning my family prays on the way to school/work. When it is my turn to pray, I almost always end my prayer asking for help to shine as a light for Him. I need God's help to get me through the day with a good attitude and even though I have bad days, I am trying to walk more like Christ in living out my faith!

Your's, Mine, and Our's...

Your faith... no Mine.... no OUR faith is important to the world. You may think, "Oh, Pa-leeze. Like my little tiny heart belonging to Christ is going to make a difference in this huge world? Right." But I am sincere when I say, "Your heart, makes ALL the difference we need. Without your heart, we wouldn't be complete. Fact is, we aren't complete. We need everyone to complete the task given to us. 'Go make disciple's of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father the sun and the Holy Spirit.' We HAVE NO CHOICE! Our faith is what is making more, and more, fishers of men... So go out to city, your town, your COUNTRY! And make more disciple's of nations...

Psalm 91

Psalm 91 is becoming a prophetic chapter in the Bible. Because first of all, the Word says to quote scripture's as you pray. So if we are praying Psalm 91 we are covered because if you read it it says, "He who dwells in the Most High shall abide under the shadow of His wings," That means we will be protected. We need to pray Psalm 91 protection over our family and friends. With that we have a promise by God that we will be protected from, " the terror at night, and the arrow that flies by day." (NIV) My dad has us sit in the living room, no matter how late and quotes that chapter. Why? Because we are protected.

Having Faith

I was looking for pics of Bethany Hamilton. She was a girl who lost her left arm to a shark attack, yet she survived. She got back up, and went surfing again. So she in my oppinion shows real faith. Why? Because she fought to live to tell others. That takes a lot of faith in Jesus. So here are some pix, I thought were inspiring.
